Might just be me but I find the galleries are slow and the pictures are smaller so I tend not to bother.

I'm not up on the coding to put pics in the forums. I bought one can of "STUPID" and it still works pretty good, I guess.

Dave, If you wish -- here is what to do (well, atleast this is one way): Go to Photobucket.com and sign up for free... Follow the instructions to email images to your now created Photobucket library. You basically email your images to this address: support@photobucket.com FROM the email address you used to register and it then sticks your photos in your library... When you send that email to photobucket support, it will email you Back and it basically says back to you "Thanks for emailing photos to your library, you may view them here:" You will see a link like this one below in that message: ://s1086.photobucket.com/albums/j459/dmccoach/?action=view¤t=1338379856.jpg

COPY only the last portion of this address -- the part after the "t="... so copy this: 1338379856.jpg

And paste it into this code where the "utf" starts (paste it and replace what comes after the slash, but preserve the [/IMG]

So, in this example, the picture from above would be pasted into the code and look like the final code below

    [eyeMG]http://i1086.photobucket.com/albums/j459/dmccoach/utf-8BSU1BRzA0ODEuanBn.jpg[/IMG]

    [eyeMG]http://i1086.photobucket.com/albums/j459/dmccoach/1338379856.jpg[/IMG]

Replace the word "eye" at the start of the string with a capital "I" -- I put them in so the page won't interpret the code --- and replace "dmccoach" with your photobucket username

    History
This Canadian motorcycle was purchased by myself in 1989 with only 1,342 km on the odometer. It was literally rescued from a farm shed – with mice damage to the seat and covered in hay! Inspired by the April 1991 Cycle World article, CW Project Bike: Saving Old Standards, I started with their menu of modifications to a similar Seca and then went beyond. The biggest headache were the unique and short-lived Hitachi carbs, which required a rebuild at the hands of Yamaha guru Michael Belluomo.

you make that sound wayyyyy too complicated. just go to your photobucket once you upload your pics, click the link code, it will copy it, then paste it in a reply. once you submit, the picture pops up. easy peasy lemon easy.

then posting pictures is like tying your shoes.

need2speed3, that's actually a US Seca, the Canadian ones were red and had the YICS engine. Not that any of this matters. :)

And your bike is sick! (That's in a good way). :D

8O Lt Dave, behave. What would your wife say?

We just did this, but OK, I'll play (some new or different pics...)

1983 XJ550RK not completely stock, 8800+ miles since recommissioned:

1981 XJ550RH much closer to stock, but with some personalization and improvement:

My long-time friend and unindicted co-conspirator, (original owner, original bike) 1974 Norton Commando 850 Roadster MKII still going strong:

The PROJECT, 1982 XJ650RJ; old pic, it currently has a straight but flat black tank and an un-rashed left muffler, and it runs:

I'm on dial-up, and I don't do anything with photobucket. Guess the pic stays in my gallery.

Nice photos -- nice consideration of their environment for the photos -- and of course nice wheels -- all of them
