    Gotcha,thanks for the explanation
I wear all the gear,ALMOST all the time
When it's REALLY hot, like 90's,I have a hard time breathing with a full face helmet and leather jacket
I bought an open face helmet and goggles for these occasions, but sometimes I can't take wearing them in extreme heat either
When I do go helmetless/leatherless now and then,I'm thinking every second in the back of my mind that this is the day I'm gonna crash, when I'm unprotected
Kinda takes a lotta the fun out of riding when you're always half planning on losing your skin

My brother recently went down (on my bike 8O )
The usual scenario, car waits all day till you're right there, and finally pulls out in front of you, then stops.Naturally, they fled the scene w/no witnesses too
My bro figured he was doing around 45 when he laid it down
Completely shredded his leather jacket, but no real injuries, just a lil road rash and limping for a while
By an amazing coincidence,I just happened to be going by on the Harley on my way to work right after he got the bike off the road, even tho it was 4 counties away from my home, and 2 from his
I saw a bike on the side of the road and stopped to see if they were broken down, thought I recognized the riders helmet, then the bike

In the crashes I've had,I was always wearing a full face helmet and leather jacket, and they always seemed to save my hide, literally
I remember my best (?) crash where I was doing 45 sliding for about half a block on my face.Even if I was wearing an open helmet.it wouldn't have done any good.I was uninjured enough to push the bike home a couple miles.Helmet just needed a new shield
My bro and I have both been riding since 1980,and we've both had several similar experiences

I always say every time you're riding, there's a decent chance you'll go down

I've been lucky enough to only crash when doing extra stupid stuff,so at least I always kinda deserved it
    Anyway,the point is,I agree w/this ATGATT thing

I thought this thread was to show some wheelies. Yeah ATATT, there's a thread for that.

    Now let's see some wheelies.
