Title (mostly) says it all. I am getting ready to rebuild my forks and anti-dive units. The powdercoater has my center stand, kickstand, and headlight bracket onstandby as I don't have enough metal to meet their $60 minimum's worth of work.

So, is it possible/advisable to have the lower fork tubes powdercoated while they are diassesembled? How would you approach this as far as....should I rebuild the anti-dive units and re-mount them BEFORE they go to the painter? Should I leave them off? Should I give up on this altogether and paint them myself another way?
