XJ750 Seca neutral light wiring doesn't interface with the "computer." The (light) brown wire is fused power and sky-blue wire is grounded by the tranny switch when in neutral.

Edit to add: same color code for XJ650 Maxiim.

Hey guys. I did this and have no spark. The only questions I have about it is the wires from the ignitor to the coils. Mine didn't have gray and orange wires coming out of it. It has a blue and white. I tied the white with the grey and the blue with the orange. This is correct right? I haven't found where anyone has made comments about it. Also my ignitor gets rather hot and so does my grey wired coil. Only getting about 3 volts of power on that side. Any ideas?

Hi this post is from a while back, but did you get the bike running fine after the loom alterations? Ive done a similar job on my Kawasaki GT550 and it works fine.

I ended up wiring from scratch. Easier than hacking the original harness.
Just did a complete wiring for a different bike because it is also a good opportunity to replace all pins inside the connectors.
