It took a little bit to grow on me as it was your own paint scheme but kinda like the classic scheme with your own twist. I personally like it. Its different and still classic. Go with it.

well, I didnt know a line to follow for the racing stripes, but, my friend got this sv650, and it's been painted corvette silver, which now I'm thinking would be HOT, and also is like the stock color but "modernized"

which is kind of what I'm doing with my seca

I painted my tracker 400 silver and regretted it every day after it was assembled. blended too much with the engine and just really is bland.

I'm planning a silver base coat for mine and a cobalt blue candy. I hope to get the look of blue candy over raw metal. Atleast that's my idea.

schooter maybe they make a john deere green candy, you could spray that over the silver.

Hey Schooter.... I did a similar paint scheme on my R1. It cost me $800 for the three colors, pearl, and clear coat. It was a friend who painted it, so gave me a good deal. He said that he would normally have charged $1000 plus. My stripes where purchased off E-Bay, and they covered up very nicely with 2-3 coats of clear coat. Looks like you would only require one straight color (Yellow), which shouldn't cost much at all. I'd guess $300-$400??? (Canadian Funds,LOL) Personally, I'd just bring it to a hobbiest to save some money.

Here is a link to the stripes on E-Bay....

My paint color was Lemon Twist Yellow, with a pearl top coat.
