My Dear XJ riders. would like to find out more about this particular model. I cannot find the front fairing anywhere online. The rest of the bike looks like a regular xj750 from 1984. VIN- 11M

I hope to find out more about this !

Nice fairing but not original seca750 I believe.
Reminds me a bit of a Pichlerfairing.

That’s a bone-stock XJ750 (Seca in the US) with an aftermarket fairing. It’s no newer than 1983. The model changed semi-significantly for 1984.

    Nice looking bike.
The fairing looks like an 84 Honda Sabre but the headlight is different.
The Honda even had the same wings sticking out the sides.

CB900F had similar fairing to the Sabre

Thank you for all the answers.
@k-moe I'm sure it is 84, since I have all the papers that match with the VIN number on the engine etc.
@Simmy It looks very similar. I saw one other xj with a fairing like mine. The guy claims that it was very limited series for racing, apparently the fairing dramatically improved stability and increased the top speed.

The papers may say '84, but the bike is no later than an '83.

This is an '84 (with an aftermarket luggage rack).

Note that it does not have the foam-covered handlebars, the remote brake master cylinder, swirly wheels, or anti-dive forks. Not so obvious is the xj900 frame that is does have.
