New foot rests / pegs for 1980 Maxim

    Hi Folks.

    It appears that the pegs on the Maxim aren't just bolt-on pieces. they seem pretty proprietary for this bike. Can anyone provide a good reference to removing the old pegs and replacing them with any suggested options?

    I have found tons of universal "bolt-on" options online for foot pegs, but they don't appear to fit the frame or mounting points of the 80 Maxim. Has anyone replaced their pegs with aftermarket options? If so, what did you use and how did you get them to fit?
