Slovenia is just a mouse-click away for us via the Postal Service!

The shipping fees may be rather steep though, if there are other parts that you need, best to order them all at one time.

Send me an e-mail at info@xj4ever.com or use the "Start A Conversation" feature on this website so we can discuss further.

I would highly recommend re-doing your brake pedal so that the rod from the pedal to the pivot is PULLING rather than pushing. The way it current is is not the best.....if you stomp on the brake hard in an emergency, that rod could fold up. Then you'd be in a world of hurt. Re-position so the forward control PULLS the rod, AND the brake link from the pivot PULLS on the brake arm on the cover. It's easy......move the rod and the link to a position ABOVE the shafts rather than below.

Nice dent on the front left of the tank!

    "Au contraire", you say?

First time you put your bike on the side stand and walk away, the front is going to flop left and ram the speedo right into the tank-----right into the afore-mentioned dent that you now have.

    "Au contraire", you say?

First sharp left turn, first sharp left evasive maneuver, first time backing upinto a parking spot on the left, etc......you'll find out about the upcoming dent

If you have that much space, cool. I can't see it.

Use hardened hardware. If you're on the brake hard enough to bend stuff, your rear brakes would, I'm sure, already be locked up..... In which case, you're already in about to be in a different world of hurt

There is a small hole underneath....push a small screwdriver in gently to depress the plastic barb in there. That will allow the switch. To slide out

You've taken it this far apart.....take it the rest of the way apart and do the throttle shaft seals and the fuel rail o-rings, too. If you don't, you'll soon wish you did......especially when you have to tear it all back down to do them.

Its not that hard andy. I did it myself just recently without any prior knowledge. BUT! Take a million pictures from all angles on everything. That really helped me getting the springs back correctly. And get the seals and orings from chacal.

    Good one --- lol

Reminds me of a time years ago when a co-worker was staring at a shelf of cleaning fluids and asked, "what's the difference between the yellow fluid and the green fluid?" I quickly replied....(you guessed it)......,"the blue fluid."

    Coffee dripped everywhere.

Ok abouth bike is like this: first valve cover gasket -after aroumd 40km he push bouth half moons out and brake that moons-temporary i fix it soo i can ride but i need to change it or make some alu moons and reasembel cover without gasket,next-carbs #2 start spliting gas in airbox soo it needed to open when i open it i found that i didnt clean soo well one port it didnt work soo well ,soo i clean all four again reasembel everything then put mix screws on 2.5 turns and start the engine .then was the fun part to sync with ear hhehe, but we maid it and bike run super ,ok maybe he need some super littel touch of sync.but if you listen it is sounds very well with ear sycn.works on around 1000rpm (if is stand or i i put it on side never bance rpm) i think we make it well.
I will try some day,ok when i buy ,a color tune but first i need to solve that cover gasket .

On bike i clean and change the oil in front forks and put another spacer of 4mm in,the i cut rear springs for 2cm,then we test rear shock and they work like a new even they are old more then 30 years.
I future: came new rear mirrora on the side of bar, like to try pods to see how works, other turning lights with bulbs now are led-i dont like it,next year all bike in new paint-when i will finish all cuttings ,reasembling, fixing, and ....
