New Ignition Switch?

    Hey guys I just picked up this '83 xj750 Mid Max from my boss. He has had it parked for a few years but was running when he parked it, or so he says. So it is now parked in his new shop at his new house for me to work on and its been so long since hes rode it, he lost the keys.... So as it sits now I am locked out of the tank and starting the bike.

    I guess my question is, is getting a whole new ignition switch and gas cap with hopefully matching keys my only option? Or is there a kit with those and the helmet/seat lock out there some place?

    The key code is stamped into the keyswitch mount on the underside of it.
    You can get replaceent keys cut with that code.
    Contact Chacal for the correct blanks.
