    Hi Folks,
I considered getting a Seca in the past, suddenly found one for the price of work already done, $325!
I posted some of it's issues aleady, and thanks for your help. Some minor repair to be finished up soon, just waiting for the parts.
As I was doing research on Seca history, I saw some pics of the '84 XJ750 not released in the US, (the HD earmark tariff). It was the paint job, and half fairing/cowling that excited me.
My project will be to fabricate a cowling from aluminum sheet, mounted to the frame and supporting the headlight, and painting the bike to resemble the Europian/ Canadian '84 XJ750R Seca. I've been looking at the half fairings on many different bikes for ideas, I like the Seca2 fairing as a pattern to follow. I've never taken on a metal shaping project this difficult, however I've wanted to for some time. I've never done a real spray job before either.
Well, now I shot my mouth off, so I got to show up for the game. As work progresses, I will post the pics.
