Hi. Since we're talking about the bars.... I don't think those are the stock ones. They look like they stand up higher and the ends don't bend down (at least compared to mine).
They look like they would be uncomfortable to hold onto at that angle.

i just bought a maxim 650 today. Great bike and runs great.

14k miles, i am the 3rd owner. The guy i bought it from put it from 4000 miles to 14000. No issues at all, but i need to replace the exhaust / shocks because of rust. (He bought a new bike, covered it, and left the maxim in the rain)

runs perfect no wiring issues and these bikes are known to be durable.

Look to make sure everything works and then shes yours. Get all the information about what may need to be replaced down the road and what is good.

these bikes are great beginner bikes if you ask me.

Gothe bike home today, tore into the rear end an all looked , i did not get any parts or anything yet as we did not end up going to the parts store sadly.
So here in the next few days will be going to get oil to do a oil change, and probably one day, once it cools down slightly, will polish up the old girl some and get some pictures of it in its current state.

she should polish up good being there is no rust spots on it anywhere but the exhaust bracket but i think i can buff that out.

nd get the title put over into my name, and get the tags for it, and enjoy for a little bit :)
