New XS750

    I'm new to the website and just bought a 82 Maxim 750 YICS for $550. Everything seems to run good, just need to check new plugs to see if it's still running rich. I changed the air filter, looks like it wasn't changed for a few years. It's now getting around 38 - 40 mpg, compared to 32 before the filter change.

    Welcome to the club! Looks like a good buy if it runs good! Just to let you know you should go to your profile info and put your year and modle bike under your signature. That way if you have any ?'s people will know what kind of bike you have. Also you will see/hear that if you have a original fuse panel you should replace it so you eliminate that problem if you have any electrical problems and put an inline fuel filter on it. Just thought I would let you know. Anyways have a good one and happy riding!
