    Tonight I pulled the rear wheel off my daughter's seca, checked the brake shoes before replacing then. The old ones were thin, but not pulling apart. They're brand new now.

    Also, tossed some new rubber on there while I had the tire off. Balanced it and now it's ready to roll. Bearings felt perfect, cleaned everything up and bolted it all back together.

    I am so glad her brake shoes were staying together, now I can let her ride the bike again (I was a little worried).
