not starting

    hi there,ive a 1982 xj650 special havent started it in a few months and after giving the battery a good boost i tried to start it but its just clicking from around the battery area,at times the ignition wont come on until i move the battery a bit or kind of shake it....does this sound like a bad connection around the battery etc or is it ignition related ? and if so is it easy fixed...?

    Yes and yes. How about you pull that battery out; make sure all the cells are full to the upper line and fully charge it.

    Clicking means not enough juice to do anything. Start with the battery.
