I've noticed this oil leak recently. I've known about my top head gasket has leaked above it last year but its not bad so I just let it go. Well I took it out for a ride today and noticed this stud pooling out oil. I actually head it popping and then did an inspection on it. I believe its a stud that carries oil from bottom to top. Am I correct on this? Do I need to finally break down and do a new gasket set? What all is involved? The picture is in my photobucket. It was too large to put on here..

Is it leaking from the base gasket, the actual head gasket, or the valve cover gasket?

I know it was leaking from the top head gasket, but it wasn't bad when I parked it for the winter. Now I think its leaking from the top head gasket and maybe flowing down the stud. I'm not 100% sure. I just don't see why it would've got so much worse. I cant see a trail going down the stud.
