My first new vehicle, bought in October. This is what the Australian Falcon model is like.

2009 Ford Falcon 1 ton cab chassis. Tuff bars bull bar, and 8' 2" x 6' drop side tray with racks.

Engine is a 4.0 litre inline 6 cylinder. Double overhead cams with variable timing, and 4 valves per cylinder. Glad I don't have to service shims on it. The engine does not have an unleaded petrol tank at all. It has 2 gas cylinders and is built from the factory to run on LP Gas or Propane gas only. Which is less than half the price to fill up compared with an unleaded engine. It has a 4 speed column shift automatic transmission. The unleaded engines get a 5 speed auto.

The 2 red diamonds on the number plates are there to alert that it is an LPG vehicle with 2 cylinders - presumably in case of an accident.

    Shaun,

Tell me the reason you are sleeping on top of your truck is due to critters on the ground?

I think I've mentioned this before, but I also have a Celica of this body style:

99 Celica GT. 2nd owner, has almost 160k and given me zero problems other than regular maintenance. 4th Celica of the 94-99 body style I've owned, they are reliable, fun cars.

Wife has a 2000 Nissan Maxima SE, but I don't have any pictures of it.

Apart from a couple of other reasons Rob, you are 100% correct. We were chased by a Cape Cobra (not a car  ) on that trip. Very aggro snakes.

my car: 2000 Ford Escort ZX2 fun little runabout 30+ mpg 137K and still kicking

    my wife's car: 1998 Nissan Altima 107K

Family hauler and kids mobile, 2000 Mazda MPV. 122K

with two teenagers driving and one in college i ain't buying anything new for a long long time I'm afraid... :-( At least they are cheap to insure, I don't bother with collision or comp coverage, just liability and medical.

also have a 1990 Goldwing with 60K, I got from my father-in-law. i would have never bought a bike like that but when God gives you lemons you make lemonade. I actualy am learning to like the thing. With the windscreen and luggage I can go anywhere. Its almost as big as my zx2 on the left!

The bus. It's actually quite relaxing and it's cheaper than spending the $150 to fill up my F150 every week.

1993 Honda Prelude SI4WS, that's right, four wheel steering. Lowered, got it from a friend when she went overseas, I sure as hell wouldn't have lowered it, but it does go around corners well. It has over 200,000 miles on it, I've personally put new JDM hood and fenders on it(hence the side marker turn signals, and an aftermarket front bumper and headlights, needs paint and some cosmetics, but one of my all time favorite body styles.
