We have a tentative date for a short fall ride.
We are planning on the 18th right now.

Tentative plans to leave from Allentown...around 9:00 I'd guess.
Head west to Port Clinton and meet up with a couple guys then head north via the backroads.
Probably have lunch at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe
Then tool up to Blakeslee / Lake harmony area
Continue back toward Allentown through the woods and past Blue Mt ski area (if we can find our way)

We'll be right in the Hamburg boys back yard (if they are awake)

Very loose plans at this point and subject to the weather.
We could do some tuning (nothing major) before we leave or at my place on the way back.

    PA XJ OWNERS,

One heck of a spring ride / camping trip planned for next weekend if anyone wants in Northeast area wants to go. My plan is to leave Willow Grove PA area Friday 4/24/09 @ 6 AM. Head West PA trnpike to 81 south, 81 South to 64 East, 64 East to Blue Ridge Parkway, Blue Ridge Parkway south to milemarker 177.7 to Meadows of Dan Va. Camping will be at Willeville Motorcycle only campground. Distance about 500 miles one way, which will take 10 hours (I have done it before). Roads are amazing, campground is awesome, good company. Right now we have seven people going and the way I look at it the more the merrier. If anyone is in the mood for an adventure let me know. I am planning on Leaving Friday and coming home Sunday. Any takers????

Any PA XJ owners wanna go for a ride? Better Yet any XJ owners in the Tri State area (PA, NJ, DE) want to ride? Would be fun to ride along side another XJ.

I'm down in MD. But we got a couple rides together last year with some PA folks. If it's a weekend and I'm free I'm in.

Iwingameover sounds good, let me pick out a weekend and get back to you.

Ryanrules sounds fun. How are you on early morning weekend rides?

Winter is quickly approaching and I thought it would be fun to start planning some spring rides. Blue Ridge Parkway starts calling me the end of April. Any XJ owners near pa that have an interest in a group ride let me know.
