This one is easy. You ask, "Now what?" Replace the POS fuse block! That thing is a mess (and probably the cause of all your problems).

That thing has got to go.

Time for a new block or some inline fuses.

I believe your twisted together wires are the headlight.

I've seen worse, I own worse.
At least get an inline 10 amp where you just have twisted wire, for now.
Chacal has new fuse boxes with fuses that glow when they blow for $16.

Your headlight should work once you get it started. I'm new with bikes and I thought something was wrong with my headlight until I got my bike running and the headlight worked.

Yep, like I said before...replace that fuse panel and your problems will be solved. I recommend Chacal's fuse panels, but any local autoparts store should have something that can get you buy..just throw some inline fuses in instead or something. Seriously, it'll take no time at all.

For some reason known only to Yamaha, some models had a additional fuse for the headlight(s) hidden in the headlight wiring. If you're problem solving, you may need to check this too - or you might not have it - check the wiring diagram.

I replaced my fuse box and now my neutral light comes on as well as turn signals. I also took the time to put an inline fuel filter on . Now I cant get my bike to start. It turns over quick enough but wont fire. Hooked it up to truck battery to pull more power. It is cold here, could that be a factor in it not starting?
