Polished XJ sidecovers and newly painted inserts

    I recently had some XJ sidecovers buffed and polished and the inserts custom painted and clear coated with the new insignia. Here's a pic of the finished product. I had multiple sets polished and the inserts painted but left off the insignia in case I want to use the "block" style Maxim. Anyway, can't wait until the bike is finished in a few weeks.

    that looks GREAT.... i plan on doin something like this to my bike after riding season .

    I just got my tank/inserts and vetter parts painted.

    I'm not sure if I'm going to do anything with the aluminum this year.

    I think I want brushed alum look instead of polished...
