Kookie, not only do I like the way the bike has come together but I really like that greenish grass you got going on over there. Oh, to live without 3 1/2 feet on snow...grrrrrrrrrrr

That seating position looks painful for putting on any serious miles, but I guess it's your bike and you have to ride it that way. I can see being tucked in for racing purposes on a track, but riding on the street/highway may get you kinda sore after some time in the saddle. Just saying.
I went for a ride on a sport bike last year and couldn't wait to get off of it. I can't believe people ride those all day long (or DO they?) I guess my old bones are catching up with me!!

I see you ended up with the stock shocks since you first put the bike on after the shocks were painted. Did you eventually get the lowered ones like you wanted? In the pictures it sort of looks lower than stock from the before picture to the after. Nice looking bike on the cheap I'm right there with you and I can't wait 'til mine is complete.

Bike looks friggin' awesome! I don't normally dig the cafe style (I'm more along the lines of a chop/bob/cruiser style myself, which is what I have been in the process of "starting" for the past 2 months or so. Ugh!), but yours looks sick. And I have to say thank you for getting the clip ons. I was sitting here reading through the whole thread going "damn, that thing is awesome, but looks like a dog with droopy ears".

Awesome color. Awesome scheme. Awesome build. Kudos on your first, man!
