    I know im fairly new here but i have to ask if this is serious? All that effort on fairings etc on an XJ! very weird little project dude better off building something that suits the donor bike i my eyes

    I like where this is going, but how did you fab the gas tank and the cbr molding to the orginal gas tank?

    mmmm... I dunno. Would maybe have been easier to start with a Seca if you're gonna do a 550.

    But I'll give it 110+ for ambition and maybe a solid 93 in creativity.

    another bump, with somebody who just found this thread for the first time. i would love to do this to my seca to be honest. I just read this entire thread, and since it was a couple years old i thought ide eventuallly see a finished product.

    Some news would be great.

    I ride for an hour on the motorway each day for work, so a full fairing like that would be SO NICE, very nice custom idea!
