First fit up of the R1 master cylinder, and there is clearance issues.
Due to the switches hitting the tank, I will play with making some bar risers.

Few more things to update soon.

All the other Alloy work is mine, but these were made by a user on here!

Took a lot longer than expected, but life can be like that.

    Hi darkfibre,
Did you use KBR tank liner ? I just did my tank with it and it came out allright....I can see one small bubble in the top section of the tank but I think it'll be OK. The stuff takes a loooong time to dry: I think my bubble might have been caused by me putting the tank out in direct sunlight.

Schmick work on the brakes, well, the whole bike actually.

Hope to hook up with you and cds1984 for a ride when I get mine out of the lounge room (soon hopefully!)

Brakes are outstanding - no grabbing, and a nice progressive feel. I would recommend the brake upgrade to anyone!

Spent 2 hours this morning at the pits.

Failed on switches hitting tank :(

Quick bar change and we should be on the road!!! (after a few more hours jumping through hoops at traffic)

    Nice!
Damn switches! Surely everyone realises you don't need to turn the handlebars 'that' far anyway... sheesh!

BussoBiker is organising a ride for December 11th, Augusta to Busselton and I need at least one other XJ to ride to Busselton with, since I figure we would meet up with him in Busselton to ride to Augusta to ride back to Busselton! Hopefully non_quotidiun will be up and running by then too, since he is from those parts also! What do you reckon?

That oughta test everything out a beaut too!
