Thanks for the lecture. I'll ride right next to him. And give you the finger as you poke along obeying all of the proper road rules and regulations and safety precautions.

You must quite proud of your finger; he lives in Australia.

    Relax, and lose the e-attitude.

besides the possibility of DB level, that bike would breeze through inspection. Are you implying since he modified an old bike he is a danger to those around him on the highway? that it would fall apart? doubtful, most people who go that far are skilled welders and use thicker metal than stock. though the falling apart thing should be said about all of these motorcycles. I just dont get what you're getting at. I would gladly extend the bird to you as well, jack wagon.

Your joking right? The friggen thing doesnt even have rear view mirrors or turn signals. That is totally a safe ride for an ignorant moron.

turn signals arent required in most states, he does in fact have a mirror (second picture first page) mounted on the left hand side. Horn? i dunno, I dont have one. but its hard to tell.

Turn signals are required in OUR State, Schootums, on bikes manufactured after 1974 (which is when they became Federally-mandated.)

    A horn is required, too.

And when you go get all confident because we don't have vehicle inspections, if you get pulled over by a State Trooper, he can and will perform an inspection right then and there. And if your bike doesn't pass, he can have a truck come and take it away while he gives you a ride home.

And speak for yourself about the "falling apart" thing. My bikes certainly don't "fall apart." Maybe it has to do with how they're "put together."

"No one that had a thought for his fellow road users would do what this guy has done and is doing."
    ________________________________________________________________________________

And what exactly is that? Riding with one hand? Being snapped for a photo? Lookin to the side? Unless you have always had both hands on the bars 100% of the times you ride, unless you have had both hands on the steering wheel 100% of the times you drove, unless you have never taken your eyes off of what's in front of you, never talked to a passenger in a car piloted by you, never talked on a cell phone while driving, then you are as guilty as he and also have no thought for your fellow road users. Way to NOT have an E-attitude, throwing rocks inside your own glass house.

Easy there Fitzums, i have 4 resources that say you're wrong

    http://www.michigan.gov/documents/TR-54_38480_7.pdf

    http://www.michigan.gov/sos/0,1607,7-12 ... --,00.html

    http://www.motorcyclelawyermichigan.com/11.html

    http://www.davelaw.com/motorcycle-laws/ ... e-law.html

    hand signals suffice.
Nor have I, in 400 miles this year (nothing really to tout about for durability yet), had anything fall off after my rebuild, as long as people have half a brain they should know to use lock tite, lock washers, or lock nuts.

yep state pig would get me for mirror or my right handle bar and no horn.

i am not picking sides here, but just to clear things up...if they (blinkers, horn, anything) are federally mandated, it doesnt matter what the state requires.

same goes for marijuana. possession of it is illegal in all 50 states. the state may permit, or at least decriminalize it, however the feds can come in and put you in the slammer.

Am I the only one that sees the placement of the bends to tuck next to the frame and the extended peg/shifter unit? The harley above has pipes even closer than his in all actuality.

I love it! Lots of good design on that bike and not a lot of catalog or store bought on it. Subtle stuff all over as well. Rad indeed!

I agree that there is a lot of skilled work on this bike, especially the tank.

Just don't think all the work that was done, was done with practical thought. If you do a mod without practical thought and application, then your doing the same as the v-twin extreme chopper builders that so many people on here rag on.
