    Of course, right after posting this I FIND IT.

    HCP8866 OEM rear shock absorber polished STUD. Fits all XJ650, XJ700, XJ750, and all XJ900RK, RL, N/FN, and F models in the left lower position (this stud actually screws into the final drive housing).
    $ 10.95

    I badly damaged the threads on mine with a stud remover and made it much worst with a thread chaser. No luck looking in the catalog at XJ4Ever. if anyone has one or a viable solution, I'd really appreciate it.
