RD350 question

    RD owners, help me out with this....do all RD350s have document doors under the seat? How about R5's?

    hi, with my LC theres a small tool tray under the front of the seat and behind the seat theres a bit of space under the ducktail, but for my LC id say there isnt a dedicated doc door,id say its a bit different thou to the earlier RD's

    mine does. little black knob you pull down. Also in the front under the tank there is a spot for the tool kit to slide under the tank. Seats on r5 rd250 350 70-75 are all the same.

    Dave,

    What about one that doesn't have a document door(the one with the little black knob attached to the underside of the seat)? The guy claims its a RD350 (73) seat but there is no door.....I had guessed that it was a r5 seat since I'd heard that the seats, other then that are very similar.

    jeff I messed up i went out and looked at mine it does not have a document pouch I was thinking of my honda. Here is the replacement seat number and what it fits from yamaha web sight
