Wanted Red Seca 750 or 650 front fender

Looking for one with original paint in Nice shape.

 

Which one—- they are different

 

Preferably a Seca 650 fender, but as i understand it, the 750 is very similar and fits, as well as being the same Red as a Canadian 650.

 

Also looking for passenger's seat strap for a 650 Seca

 

Fenders:

XJ550 Seca and XJ650 Seca use the exact same fender, besides the color differences. The 1981 XJ550 Seca fenders were chrome-plated, rather than painted. The 1982 XJ750 Seca fender (Color Code T5 Red) is about as close to the Canadian XJ650RJC color (Code 4H Cardinal Red) as you'll likely find...…...the 750 Seca "red" colors are not anywhere near as close.

The XJ750 Seca fender is the same as the XJ550 Seca and the XJ650 Seca fenders, but it has an additional slotted opening underneath the main triangular opening. Other than that, they're the same.


We do have the correct Code 4H Cardinal Red paint available (but cannot ship it into Canada), but since you're near the border, it could be shipped to a location within the USA and you would have to drive over and pick it up...…..

The 1981 XV920RH Virago also uses the same fender as the XJ550 Seca/ XJ650RJ Seca models, it was available in a Code 63 Brilliant Red, but again, close in color but not the same.

HCP27621 Aftermarket seat strap rivet CLINCHER TOOL, used to splay the end of the clinch rivet and secure it tightly. Although it’s not absolutely necessary to use this tool to splay the rivet tip, it sure makes the job easier (and prevents you from ruining a bunch of rivets as you practice your technique!). If you’re going to have your strap “rebuilt” by a trim (upholstery) shop, then they probably already have a version of this tool (but you should ask them first). Wow, you have seat straps covered. Thanks for the information on the paint and straps. I did not realize that the color was different for the Cdn Seca 650 and 750. I am ideally after original paint, unless I change my mind and repaint the whole bike. That would be pretty far down the road.
