It's been a bit since I've updated. I got the front brakes totally rebuilt. I had the local Yamaha shop put on my new tires and throw on the rear shoes. However, they mentioned that my steering head bearings were shot. That makes sense, as I've noticed that the low speed handling was kind of squirrely. I chalked that up to the front tire, but it still had it afterwards. The shop told me that it's not safe to ride with it like that, so I've parked it until I can get it fixed. It seems pretty involved, so I'll probably have the shop take care of that. That should be the last *major* thing it needs, but a couple of minor things still need to be addressed.

    *Steering head bearings
    *Valve cover gasket
    - I've smelled burning oil at stop lights, but no oil spots in my garage. Traced it to a slightly leaky valve cover gasket
    *Horns
    - Need to get horns. I see a lot of Seca horn pairs on eBay. Are they pretty much interchangeable?
    *Carb boots
    - I can probably wait until next season to address this, but the carb boots are starting to dry rot. I don't think there is a leak yet, but it will need new ones soon.

I think that's really it that I can see. I did have a lot of fun riding her around, but I don't feel comfortable the way the bearings are. I'll keep you guys posted.
