I took my maxim out for a spin this afternoon. The only change I made was I had changed the engine oil and final gear oil recently. Now I'm noticing a vibration between 2700 and 3500 rpms. I notice it in any gear and if I pull in the clutch and let off the gas it goes away. I double checked the oil levels and their spot on.

    Any thoughts?

does it go away after 3.5k?
check you have all the rubber shock absorbers in the fins, I think it's 24 in total.

It does seem to go away, or get much less noticable, after 3500 rpm.

Are you talking the little black pieces of rubber between the fins on the side of the engine?

I forgot that I did put on the spin on oil adaptor when I did the oil change. I'm pretty confident that I put that on right since I followed Chacal's directions line by line and it seemed very straight forward.
