If your carbs are exactly like the CX-GL carbs, but smaller, then your idle mix screws are on the bottom, in front of the float bowl, and designed with a wing that hits the bowl, limiting your tweaking, and that wing is on a thin neck which WILL snap off if the threads are too gummy, so WATCH IT!

Once snapped, you will need to hack saw a screw slot into the mix screw.

Disclaimer: the motorcycle has some complications idling, but is able to by turning the mixture screw.

150 grit always worked for me. self etch primer helps too. slather the tank in wd40 or wipe it with an oiled rag. when it is time to paint acetone is your friend.

BTW, I'll still give ya $500 for the Husky...or has anyone inquired on your Craigslist ad?

Schoot' my young friend, in the interest of workplace safety, don't work on the bike on the kick stand, if it hasn't got a centre stand, get it up on a strong box or crate. Wiz.

If you don't clean then and set them up everything else you are doing will be for nothing unless you just want to sit on it in the garage and go vroom , vroom
