    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 0336369950

Now if you EVER want to get LED's for your bike, this is the guy! great guy to deal with, one of the terminals was loose in the switch he gave me, and he has a warrenty, without even saying anything to me, 2 days later in the mail i get an entire installation kit without the lights, no questions asked, then i got a message 2 days later that said thanks for your purchase.. really good guy, but sometimes he can be slow in getting back to you

if you're gonna get rid of those original carbs let me know, just helped a buddy pick up an 82 cb750, he might need a set. the bike sat outside uncovered for 15 years with fuel in the tank and carbs.

Looking Good Schooter ! Liking that paint job! Don't be afraid to jump right in with both feet.....It's the best way to learn, and build confidence. Along with the manual, you should be able to accomplish most of the work on your own. Keep up the good work, and look forward to following your build.

    Cheesy!

Well, i got the drag bars on, the grips, and messed with the electronics (for the better i hope)
Heres what it looks like, i put the tank on to see handle bar clearences.... will it be ok if it doesnt go all the way? more like 80% of the way? ill have to test drive it..i also removed the tach and the oil, neutral, etc lights
only had to cut the wires to the lights... couldnt figure out how to remove them..

It probably won't make a difference riding.
First time you're walking it out of parking space and crank the bars into the tank, with the new paint job it will make a difference.

Just curious, whered the tach go? If you plan on running just the speedo, Id suggest that you center it. It doesnt look quite right with the one guage off to one side.

Au contraire Organized! The off center location looks great from my perspective. A 1 1/2 in tach would really look great next to it down low.

ya i kinda liked it... but this is the situation
i removed the tach and dash lights, i wanted to make a mount to put it in the center, but i found out i dont have the cable to do it :( so i hacked up the bracket that it came on, reversd it, and got it as far to the center as would allow, not entirely sure it will work, cuz the speedo cable is kinda pinched against something... thje headlight, i forget, but its not bad, just pressure

I guess I am just weird, cause I seem to do the exact opposite. Every vehicle I have ever owned has had a tach. If it didnt come with one I add one. Its always nice to know where your engine is at rpm wise. Helps with saving fuel, diagnosing problems, etc.

That might be kind of difficult when you are driving down the road trying to see at what rpm the engine is cutting out or seeing if it will pull redline in gear etc.

Well, its been awhile since i last posted.. mainly becaus ethe guys at cb750c made me feel like poop for making my bike looks pretty before getting it running properly... well she runs!!!! not great, but i now have a starting point.... it idles high.... and could possibly have spent rings in the #1 cylinder.. shouldnt though for a 12k bike... i think, lol,

oh ya, thre was a biiiig puddle of gas under the bike when we started it... and the 1&2 carbs were wet... but we dried everything up, ran it again, and it was dry, so the floats might have been stuck and then freed themselves...

Should have seen the look on my dads face when she fired up... made it worth getting yelled at for making his garage a mess, lol

and the bad side, today i blew up my moms snowmobile... i think the crank went out... this is going to put a big hault to my motorcycle fixing, and riding.. poop

any suggestions for the #1 cylinder... that set of pipes was upstares where it was cold, could have been steam, but i dont think so... and im using my maxim tank, lol cuz theres no clearcoat on the honda... and theres seafoam in the tank.. but its on one cylinder... i think im going to worry about it when its all together...

    ill post some pics tomorrow

well, no pics, but i got the tailight to have a running light and a brake light that uses the old switches... i jumped some wire that was always on when you turned the key on, i think its the reaer brake light switch, anyways, i almost got kicked off the cb750c website for calling them old farts and posting new threads with every change in my project... they are alot different than you guys, theres only about 3 diffeent guys that post stuff, and usually its just sarcastic crap that doesnt help you one bit.
I've really only found out that clymer manuals make tough mans toilet paper, have pretty pictures, and that pods are bad.

oh i got my 4-1 exhaust ready to go on, along with a surprise that you guys will see later on... its my dream to put on a bike, ive mentioned it before... ill see if you guys can figure it out.

so before the engine will run properly, ive got to get the valve seal changed on one cylinder or the rings changed.... i have to wait until spring... and idea when the first day of spring is? thats when my dads friend can work on it, the one that was a honda dealer.. my dad wont let me take it to my local honda dealer. ive got to paint some more things and get them clear coated... and some new sprockets and a chain, and should be ready... i painted the reaer fender, but after looking at it for awhile, i found out my red stripe is crooked and off center (slap forehead)
cant wait to get this sucker running and cruising the streets and making lots of noise.

    peace out, girl scouts

i agree with schooter on the cb750 forums (i was a member there when i was trying to get that POS 750c runnin i still have it though, its just collecting rust) they have a tendency to belittle people and there not nearly as helpful. These forums are a lot better.
