Unfortunatel im grounded indefinately from working on my bike.... I didn't do my drafting homeowrk on saturday, but i got it done on Sunday...

does the engine have to be spotless to paint it? if so, i may wait till it thaws outoutside so i can powerwash it, its kinda of dirty, like little specks, or is this engine paint some tough snot?
BTW, stupid napa got in a order for me, but its not the nice duplicolor 1200 F stuff, its some brand 1300-2000, dupli has some gloss, but this stuff is FLAT.

    Don't Paint the Engine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aluminum can be just as shiny as crome!!!!! It takes some work but it is well worth it. Start with 800 then go to a 1000 apply some mothers and shine it up to see how far you have left to go. Then finish up with some 2000. Finish up with mothers and it will be so shiny that if you look at it, it will blind you. It will look 1000 times better than spray paint.

either way your going to have to sand it schooter. you need to roughup/clean the build up off the aluminum by sanding it. Otherwise the paint will not stick.

well, im going to wire wheel it.... and then near the end, ill use that red paint, throw on a honda wings symbol, and paint over it, cuz it says that paint is heat resistand, so it should hold up

Now if you EVER want to get LED's for your bike, this is the guy! great guy to deal with, one of the terminals was loose in the switch he gave me, and he has a warrenty, without even saying anything to me, 2 days later in the mail i get an entire installation kit without the lights, no questions asked, then i got a message 2 days later that said thanks for your purchase.. really good guy, but sometimes he can be slow in getting back to you

if you're gonna get rid of those original carbs let me know, just helped a buddy pick up an 82 cb750, he might need a set. the bike sat outside uncovered for 15 years with fuel in the tank and carbs.

i know, and most of it has been useless grabage with mispelled words, lesse when you do the math it comes out to 5 a day... and you've been around for over a year, and you've got lesss than one a day, but bigfitz52 has like 1600 and he joined liek 2 months before me... but yup, im on here too much, lol, ive got triple the posts than miles i put on my bike!
