shifting

    we are replacing the gasket on the shifter side and having problems getting the shifter to spring back. it will still shift one gear at a time but then will not shift again till you play with the shifter.

    Make sure that the Shift Lever Rod Mechanism engages the Shifter Shaft Rotating Mechanism with the Middle Cogs lined-up together.

    Be sure that the Tensioner Spring, ... at the Top of the Ratcheting Shifter Air is:

    Present ... and, ...
    Connected.
