It was a start to a cool windy morning in WI on Sunday May 3ed. Met up with a few friends in Tomah WI and made our way to Wonewoc for a great breakfast brunch. Met some more friends and riders there and made or way to Leland WI on the back roads.

Wind was the only issue for the day, hard to even sight see, had to concentrate on the road and keeping a line. Roads we were on didn't have any hill or tree protection, so make the trip down interesting. Pulled into town early and with in an hour or two, the bikers started to flood in.

We left shortly after 2pm and by that time the town of Leland looked like an ant pile with people and bikes moving as far as the eye could see.

Here are just a few of the cool bikes and most of the old school Yamaha bikes that I saw.

Those were the only two older Yamaha bikes that I could find. Bikes kept coming and going so I am sure I missed many.

    Super custome HD.

Had to do a search on this one to see why it was in the back of a pickup and not ridden into town. Very rare limited production bike with an interesting stearing head.

There were three Honda CB750 that had been converted to chopper style bikes. The one with the purple paint the owner said was punched out to a 901. It was hands down the best looking of the three.

Had some very cool older HD's there as well. This one is ridden in every yr, for just a short time and then they headed out. Have to love how much oil and grease they leave on these old bikes.

You could spend all day looking and talking to great folks from every brand name bike. Really great day of riding, good food, great friends and a common joy of interacting with a great motorcycle family.
