Spray clear coat WITH HARDENER!

    Gamuru,
    Just curious, are ya going to put something on the sides of the tank where the old emblems used to be? It don't look right with those dents there. I'd atleast find some kind of stickers to cover them up or the factory emblems to go back on. PD

    I've got my emblems sitting next to me. I'm going to flat black them, then silver leaf the raised "YAMAHA" portions, followed by a few coats of clear to protect them.

    All in due time... ;)

    Ah yes, that should look great, Good idea! After looking what they get for new emblems, I don't blame you for re-doing the old ones.

    what is silver leaf and how does it work. I'm very corious. I never could figure out how to just paint the raised part without the pain of trying to tape off the rest.
