Sticking throttle?

    the question was "would it result in the throttle grip itself sticking in place?"

    NO, it wouldn't. He's tried this with the cable disconnected, IIRC. Sure, the throttle linkage can hold the grip back; which is what you're referring to. But it can't make the grip itself hang up; and that was the question.

    Between the throttle grip and the switch block that the throttle tube sits in. The washer goes on the throttle tube before you put the hand grip on the tube.
