Hello, have had my XJ now for about a year. Finally getting warm enough to think about getting it ready. I’m needing to replace my front brake pads but am having trouble removing the caliper pin. Anyone have suggestions to help a brother out? Thanks in advance!

top part of that pin is threaded. use penetrating oil and an allen wrench for removal.
impact tool if you have one.

may be easier to loosen it with caliper still on bike

don't round out the pin, if the caliper is off you might be able to get vice grips on the shaft to help the allen wrench.
chacal should have new stainless pins
