swap a 650 into a 550 frame?

    just wondering if a 650 motor or bigger would bolt into a 550 frame? its an 1981

    along with the shaft

    No. Frame and swingarm pivot area completely different; plus the "power unit" (engine, gearbox and middle gearbox) is about a foot longer than the 550s.

    You CAN drop in an FJ600 mill, or a Radian motor. (The Radian used the 550 Maxim frame.)
