Tach?

    I was riding today and my tachometer just stoped reading. My bike still runs fine, but i was wondering if anyone knows what the problem would be?

    Could be a loose/stuck tach cable. Did you check to make sure the cabe is still screwed in all the way?

    yea, the cable is screwed in all the way, and the tach shows nothing

    Another possibility is the meter movement coil burned out. Check resistance across the coil with the pigtail disconnected. If you don't read continuity, it's done. It might be possible to fix (I repaired one just this past year) but usually they are done for by then. Best of luck, let us know what you find.
