Tachometer needle broke

    Got engine running. During carb sync, the damn needle broke! I have a mech tach in the parts pile. Could I use that to repair somehow?

    The needle is a press fit you have to carefully pull it off without bending shaft.

    Superglue and a flat toothpick. Cut the toothpick to act as a backer. Glue it in place and put the broken needle back together. Repaint if desired.

    I'll try the tooth pick repair first. I sure I'll just damage the other needle attempting to remove and install.
