"Tail" warning light

    I have a xj1100 and just installed a LED tail light. Looks nice by the way. The problem is the "Tail" warning light comes on now. Anyone have a fix for this?

    Easy fix #1: Go back to incandescent bulbs.

    Easy fix #2: Press the warning light reset button and ignore the LCD. (...every time you start the engine)

    Slightly more involved fix: Connect a load resistor in parallel with the taillights (negates the electrical benefit of using LEDs, but makes the computer "see" the required resistance) I prefer the ones that are mounted in an aluminum heatsink.
