Timing is everything....1972 H1B Kawasaki triple

    When I called the ebay seller who listed this as a classified ad, he said he had JUST listed it, not 20 seconds earlier....I paypal'ed the funds while we were on the phone together....comes with a clear title and he's an hour from my house. It seems that my average distance for getting a bike over the past few years has been around 250-350 miles round-trip so this is a real treat!

    Should be a fun project but I remember well the angst I had with the 3 sets of points that were on this one model year...yuk<LOL>!

    I already have every part that it needs, and then some so this will only cost me time and paint!

    Nice pick!

    My bitching about my intermittent CDI problems on my H2 probably arent as bad as setting points.

    What are your plans for the style of build?

    Looks like it has a drag style rear fender, and the rearsets, luckily the horn isn't upside down! :lol:

    Setting points is not as bad as most think. However it does make valve adjustment seem like a gross measurement. The key is having a dwell meter and a very steady hand and good fitting screwdriver.

    That's a rare one for sure Jeff, nice score. And considering the age it looks really decent. Love the 1/4 fairing. Elbow grease time!! You gotta post some audio of it once you get it windin'!
