Just to clarify is it a camera or the camera function on your Android phone?

Using my phone I go to upload a file choose from the menu on XJ Bikes in my case media picker and then choose the file and tap select. You can take a video on an android phone and choose the tab at the bottom of the picture you want. Or if you connect your camera to your computer you should be able to click upload a file and search for you camera and upload your video from there.

its just an ordinary hand held camera, i find it easier to transfer images because the SD card fits straight into the slot on my laptop, posted loads of photos in the past but ive never done it with a video, the pictures i took along with the video, all appear on my "upload a file" list , but not the video, o_O

yeh , i think that may have something to do with it, i think the video may be too big, and the image resizer in the link you posted does'nt work anymore, it may need to be posted to a hosting site, like you tube as you say, but i dont know how to go about that. all this techno passed me by years ago o_O

Same here that's why l asked my nephew lol. If you have a YouTube account you can try this then post the link here.

    Upload videos in YouTube Studio
    1. Sign in to YouTube Studio.
    2. In the top-right corner, click CREATE. Upload videos .
    3. Select the file that you'd like to upload. You can upload up to 15 videos at a time. Make sure that you click Edit on each file to edit your video details.

    yeh, thanks Franz,
i put up a youtube tutorial and followed the instructions.
i created an account, and uploaded the video to youtube.
then i posted the link on the test zone on here, and lo and behold it appeared and played, to my astonishment as nothing ever works for me as far as techy is concerned.
i'm going to create the thread now, its following on from my thread " turn signal self canceling mod" in technical forum

You can cut sections out and edit the video to create the structure you want. I think it is better for people doing presentations so I probably should have left that part out.
