Voltage drops problem

    you need two o-rings, a smaller one to fit the shaft and a larger one to fit the
    hole in the carb.
    they must be thin enough to go into hole in the carb.
    i've had them on mine for years.
    i'll see if i can get some measurements for you.

    Do you mean you've had it running? How and when?

    Meanwhile, I am wondering if there is a volt drop between the battery and the coils, and the battery and the ignition module (I presume it has electronic ignition) When the bike is turning over on the starter motor, this combines with the volt drop because the starter motor is taking the lion's share of the battery. The result is that there isn't a good enough spark, which was bypassed by the PO by the use of Easy Start.

    Check with the ignition switched on and the components in place and plugged in. If it's like my XJ750, the ignition module switches off after a few seconds, so put the probes in place, THEN turn on the bike. Repeat for the other measurement.

    What you are looking for is the voltage when the coil or ignition module is in use. You want the supply side of the coils, not the side that goes to the ignition module.

    you want #11 o-rings, two on each side of each carb, made of "viton"

    after looking, square ones might be better but i know round ones work.
    McMaster might ship to Poland, i don't know.

    Greenbike Ive try this after pourhasing the bike.
    Polock thank you i will convert to metric and try to find them in my local suplier. I will post resoults, this will help :)
