Yea, headlight works perfectly. I’ll post a final wrap-up once I get the signals all ironed out, but it seems like everything’s resolved.

If that bike in your avatar pic is your seca, it's definitely not stock. The 750 seca has a big rectangle light like KMoe posted, along with the "Atari" style cluster, and often a rectangle aux light below the headlight. That also looks like a Maxim tank to me, but I'm no expert...

He has a Seca. The brake lines for the anti-dive give it away. Plus there's the pic of he Seca Atari on page 1.

Page 2 first video post #35 time 1 min 28 sec is that a unique Atari? I have never seen one with the round cover and Seca emblem on top.

That’s a mix of parts that I haven’t seen before. Reminds me of the police bikes a bit.

Here's what I think happened to the instruments.
The headlight and instruments from a Midnight Maxim were fitted, and the PO mated them to the front half of the Seca 750 ATARI so he wouldn't need to bother with wiring changes, or relocating the systems monitor. He used a license plate light badge and part of something to bridge the visual gap between the round gauge housing and the ATARI.

Ha, that's why I promised at the beginning that it is a XJ750 SECA. Previous owner had made some common mods like the round headlight. I picked up an XJ550 SECA as a parts bike. Tank and instrument cover are both off of that. It didn't have an instrument cover when I got it (no idea why) and the instrument cover from the 550 looks nice (round parts on front above round headlight.) It mostly lines up, it's held on there with 2 drywall screws at slight angles.

So for clarity: Is the systems monitor (the LCD screen and it's accompanying circuit board) from the ATARI hooked up? That is a critical part of the 750's wiring harness and lots of things won't work properly if it's not either hooked up or been bypassed properly.

Yep, whole systems monitor is stock. Just dressed differently.

What would be a better way of doing it, I'm installing LED's and when I'm testing them the lights just stay on, no flashing. I was going to get a resistor for them but what would you recommend?

    A two-relay setup.
Note that the 2 post flasher is a no-load flasher with positive ground.
