I am looking at a simplified wiring harness build (I am sick of chasing gremlins that keep popping up in my harness).

I have looked through the modified harness diagrams around the site and have done some modification to suit what I want, but I have no idea what gauge wires I should be using for the new harness.

Does anyone who has done this have a diagram with wire gauge listed or a system break down list?

ps. this is for my 750 seca

I used this wire capacity chart while building my dune buggy. All seems to work well, with nothing overheating and no fuses blowing.

    12V Wire Capacity Chart

The trick for your re-wire would be to know how much total power would run through the wires you are replacing and chose the wire size accordingly.

Yep I'm hoping this 650 wire harness will still be compatible with my 750.

Good luck... I know I'll need it ha.

well my bike is a bit modded doesn't have the atari and I added a cigarette lighter outlet for my gps, no aux light, different headlight, led everything but headlight. I keep finding more and more corrosion issues in the electrical system so its either get a different harness or go custom and with the mods on the bike I might as well go custom rather than chop one up.
