I have to wear prescription glasses to see where I am going, and I consider buying a helmet with a retractable sunvisor inside the helmet, I wonder if my glasses will be in the way when I'd need to put the visor down.

Do you guys have experienced this problem with this kind of helmet and glasses?

Primary helmet is a Zeus modular helmet and has a winter shield to put on for snowmobiling too....

I too wear prescription glasses. I have a uv coating and transition lenses. No visor required.

That is an option I would consider since my eyes don't fit my prescription anymore...

    quebecois59,
i thought the same thing untill i tried on some sort of HJC full face, got my glasses on and the outer shield down but no go on the sun shield. knocked my glasses right down.
this was a real full face not a modular but i suspect they're the same

I consider buying a full face, because I want a more quiet helmet. I could have a Scorpio EXO-500 for 139$, sounds good to me, what do you think?

I wear a g-max full face. The outer clear shield doesn't touch my glasses. It doesn't have a sun visor.

that's a nice helmet but look how close the inner shield is compared to the outer shield.
i think for quiet one of those that pump-up the cheek pads is the way. i never tried one but that's where my wind noise comes from

I have a Scorpion EXO400 and love it. I'm not a fan of internal sun shields. They aren't opticaly clear enough for me, and I dislike the idea of having a hard surface so close to the bridge of my nose.

There is a wind skirt avalible the snaps under the chin bar. With it in place there is very little wind noise, but it does increase fogging on cold days while moving slow.

It looks like the EXO-400 is not available anymore, is the R410 similar to yours?

I have a pair on prescription sunglasses, but also on my GMAX modular the visor doesn't interfere with my regular glasses.

My prescription glasses are rather small and slim, so it may not interfere with a sun visor
