I think the eyebrows need a little work.... Maybe modded to raise and lower as you apply the breaks! lol

:? How can that be comfy? Ask out laying on your codpiece while face-planted in your tank? Maybe I'm just too short... Damn dried up gene pool...

Are you just going to matte black the frame and the wheels? I hope so. I understand not liking the paint you've got on there (I personally think it looks great, at least from the photos), but I wouldn't take something with personality like that and replace it with the very generic style of black on black on black on black...

Since you asked--I'd leave the paint job (at least the tank, etc.) and slap chrome on wherever seems convenient. Chrome, as part of an overall design with color, etc. looks great. I think what people don't like about chrome is that some people put chrome on chrome on chrome on chrome.

Amazingly it is. I put 180 miles on last week with no ill effects except for the usual sore backside.

I like the raising lowering eyeballs mod suggested! I can make it so one raises, or both are raised, but it takes a wrench. I appreciate the sentiment on the paint. When i first got the bike my cuz said... I love it... I love it!... uh ...wow... 8O its REEEEEEEALLY purple huh? ... You might be right about black on black but since it has a face, I'm not too concerned with people thinkin its generic... the chrome or brushed I'm askin bout is on the face... shall I leave it aluminum... or cut it from steel and chrome it?

    Got one for aluminum :D

Yes!! Call it the Mean Muggin' Machine and ride it doing wheelies while someone plays the music from Mad Max (preferably the Thunderdome music)... seriously though that's awesome shit. Kinda reminds me of Johnny #5's evil twin.

That's the fun of customizing. You make it your own. Hopefully mine isn't too out of order that it can't be sold when I am done!

Thanks Heathen! I'm working on my spiky jacket now! Seca... I'd sport it! I decided to keep all my controls which on my maxim means no drag bars.. I tried and broke my choke lever... :(

Anytime...listen I took a bolt that was only threaded about an inch - inch and a half at the base and the rest of the bolt was smooth (I think it's like 3 - 3.5" overall). Put it through the choke cable bracket and bolted that bad boy in with a lock washer and nut. Works like an incognito choke lever, and gets rid of that stupid thumb adjustment for the choke. Just a thought.

Heathen, I might do that! I still have my drag bars :D . Currently my bars are off a 4-wheeler and work well. They also are pretty close to how the bars were, so they make the wonky angles of the brake fluid reservoir/mirrors work! :D

Bomonghani, Wow... currently above my scope! :? Maybe a simpler manually switched servo? ... When ya start talking $100 microcontrollers I'm not only lost, my wallet groans 8O.... Now if your class cared to have a "project", and it involved Barney... I'm just sayin :p Glad i made your day!
