It's 6:20 am as I post this message. Just finished a 120 mile RT ride down the Columbia River gorge. 48* F, raining like a biotch! Dry and toasty warm!

Did I mention I was on the Beemer? Cheatin' SOB! Heated grips on high, seat warmer on low, windshield in full up and locked position, and livin' large.

I did, finally, get my Maxim back from my son in law a couple days ago. Yeahhhhhhhhh! I've got a couple maintenance items to perform and a relay for aux lighting to install on Miss Aubergine today and then I'm going to break down the Maxim, do all maintenance and a paint job this winter. She's going to be BMW mauve metallic to match her big sister! Will probably have the frame powder coated dark gray just to be different. Looking forward to the work!

Well the weather channel says 47 for the high today but I'm goin out for a quick ride after lunch. Sunday and Monday 63 and 65. I recently moved across PA and i am out near State College now in between several mountains so it can get fairly windy but some nice roads out here. I left the Seca with my brother back in Philly but brought my Scrambler with me out here.

The Rain has started here in the frozen north, and probably won't stop till April. Not so much the cold, I can't stand getting road scuz on my baby,so I'm putting her to bed now..... Next! This winters project, another RJ750, this one is blue ... 1981, cost me $500. Wives are social creatures, can't understand why mine doesn't realize my red RJ needs a friend!

I still ride to and from work everyday. It has been as low as 20-25 recently. Daytime temps are usually 30-40, higher if we're lucky. I will ride as long as the streets are clear. Coldest ride, Last year it was 2 degrees with a - 9 windchill. Just dress the part and all is good. I hate not being able to ride so I do as much as I can. Here in North Dakota, we're lucky to not have snow on the ground.

Some people might not think North Carolina is not a southern state, but it is november and the temp today is 65 and sunny. It is still riding weather around here. I never put my bike to sleep I just don't ride as often.

Had mine out yesterday. 60F and sunny, don't get a lot of chances like that in November in SD.

It's supposed to be 65 today. A friend of mine recently bought his first motorcycle (a Ninjette 250) and called and asked if I wanted to go for a ride. Ow, Ow, you're twisting my arm! ;)

    Be safe out there!

It easily hit 65 here in Buffalo NY today. Glad it wasn't put away for the winter! Great riding weather - warm & sunny!

Now it can be time to ski :D

Had mine put away for a month due to issues with starting in the cold. Got it out this past Saturday after work and spent an hour trying to get it to start. Little bit o luck and some starting fluid got her going. Rode 300 miles saturday and sunday combined. Just tucked her away in my shed a couple of hours ago for a winter of hibernation and projects. To all of those who dont live in my area, ride safe and enjoy the not-michigan weather.

    60F and sunny today.
Rolled her out, set the choke, thumbed the starter and she fired right up.
Hadn't been run in over a week of <45F.
Boy She sounds gnarly choked and cold.
Will ride the next 2 days as it will hit 60 or better.
I keep filling her up and adding Sea Foam only to have it get nice again.
Sea Foam running $12 bucks a can now. :x

My '81 fired right up Saturday after sitting for over a week and it's been <32 here.

SIXTY THREE today for Motown! Looks like I'll be riding to work at least once more.

I haven't been all that impressed with SeaFoam; I'm going back to Sta-Bil this year.

It was 94deg F here today, summer's well started, this time of year sea foam is where its meant to be, not in ya petrol tank. No wonder you lot get carb problems 'n rusty tanks.

Mine is still awake also. Reached the mid-70's this week-end and went on a 250 mi. RT. My furthest ever. Trouble with warm temps here in KS in Nov. is that it's warm because the wind is coming in from the south at a very brisk clip. The wind was crazy!

I was about to, then one of my friends told me to wear an extra pair of long underwear and "stop being a p****."
