So far, by you alone, i've been called a troll, an idiot, chaff, of narrow mind, unable to understand words, phrases and possibly the entirety of the English language, unable to understand social concepts, i'm dangerous, hypocritical and i have serious mental issues and need counseling and should be banned to a bit bucket.

You are right, KTCubed, although the humor you credit dawsoner completely escapes me.

He didn't get me like he thinks. I responded to the picture he painted with my thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I also clearly stated that if he meant what he wrote ... .

What he utterly fails to comprehend is that I have directly experienced the very behavior he describes in dreadful reatlity. I'd like to see him hold his cookies while he picks up the body of a rider who has been splattered all over the front of a car when both were going in excess of 70 miles an hour in opposite vectors. Or the face of little Tommy whose face smashed against the car window and now looks like bloody hamburger in the collision caused by someone who thought he was on his own personal race course. He is so totally self-righteous that he refuses to see the offensive nature of his behavior and absolutely unwilling to attribute to people's comments the statements and intent they have declared. And yet we are supposed to accept his taunts and jibes as harmless fun and offers of peace. I seriously doubt that if he arrived at an accident scene he would realize that the person sitting quietly to the side is in dramatically more danger than the person who is jumping up and down screaming about the pain they are in over the 4 in lac in their arm. I'd like to see him try to find a good vein for an IV in someone who has lost 4, 5, or more units of blood and is in life-threatening shock with blood all over the place.

He thinks it is injurious, for example, to call him a troll. And yet, that is exactly what he claims to have done: thrown out some bait and then trolled for reaction in order to lampoon those he thought over reacted or responded in a way he thinks is unreasonable. Then he whines about a rejected peace offering in the same post where is reiterates judgement and false statements regarding others.

I am not quite sure what we are supposed to do as far as giving him the benefit of the doubt ...

I can only say that this thread will not affect how I engage in other discussions with him. My posts were far calmer of emotion than he attributes. I tried to show him facts, I tried to get him to understand why such behavior (trolling) is offensive, I tried to get him to comprehend the experiences of others and why they might have said the things they did without being the less than rational, malevolently biased/prejudicial/judgemental people he makes them out to be.

Clearly, he has been unable to do so comprehend such. His loss. Doesn't affect me at all.

I do, however, enjoy engaging in ... hmmmm ... long exposes of the ... lack of *applied* intelligence/wisdom/empathy of others. <grin> It's just the Imp in me.

 

I don't mind being passed, so long as the passer doesn't use my lane to do it.

(Those of us who don't need to worry about our penis size do occasionally worry that it'll be run over.) :wink:

If I am going over the speed limit I can't stand being passed because it is usually by some show off kid who has been driving for a whole 7 months without having to have mommy in the minivan next to him. But I hate having someone on my ass more. I'll just go slower.

In regards to the poster of this thread... Well, this guy has a serious issue with being passed and it almost seems like something stemming from a place only a good psychologist can really touch on. But If I am going slow, pass me.

Can't stand pricks on the road or dumb people who can't drive because they are yackin' away or, worse yet, texting on the cell phone. But if I was passed by someone who was just doing it to be a jerk-off and does it in an attempt to endanger my safety, he might get his lips punched in at the next stop... honest to god!

Things happen too quickly on the road to be messing around.
For anybody with sense, you can do 1000 stupid, silly, goofy, tricky, and even cool stunts and tricks and jerk-off moves on the road and pull it off. You can do one well thought out trick, however, and it be the worst fail of your life.
And it always comes out of nowhere.
