windscreen lip

    i have GREAT information that Chacal now has replacement windscreens for the 900RK...

    he has standard and two different windlips...

    my standard screen was fine (as far as i know, ive never had a fairing before) but im wondering if i should opt for one with a lip. theyre available with 1-1/2 or 2-1/2 inch lip...


    anyone have any thoughts on this? im not overly tall and i dont sit too upright...

    When I replaced the Windscreen on my 900 there were very few options.
    The OEM from the Dealership was close to 3-Bills.

    I let the Masters at Eagle Screen make me one to several sets of specs they offer.

    I got a replacement Screen with a WindLip, but I think the Screen being close to Original renders the Lip cosmetic.
    If the Screen was at Eye Level or thereabouts; I'm sure it would be more effective on the road.

    I think it needs a 12 - 15 inch lip to start working as a fairing.
    2 1/2 inches won't do much for me.
