    Do i have to change the ignition coil wires on my 82 xj750 when changing the plug wires

    the coils and wires are an assembly but you can splice new wires onto the existing wires using this product.

    or you can do this Replacing Ignition Wires in Stock Coils

    then there is the option of CB750 coils as a replacment
